Auto Expert Insider
What our members have to say about their experience with Auto Expert:

“Excellent and easiest transaction ever!  The part that stood out the most – how simple it was!  Great Service. Great customer service.  Perfect!”
– Michelle Amador, Altura Credit Union member

“We were treated very well and with courtesy and professionalism.  We saved a lot of time by not having to go from Dealership to Dealership looking for the vehicle we wanted.  This is the second time we have used Auto Expert and will probably use the service again when we want another vehicle.”
– Max and Bertha Stanger, Altura Credit Union members

“The advisor went out of his way to get the make, model, and color I requested. I appreciated not having to go dealer to dealer looking for what I wanted.  It was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had.  Thank you for making my purchase a positive experience.”
– Charles Leebert, Altura Credit Union member

“The advisor was such a terrific partner in this car buying process. Buying a car is not something I enjoy - I dread it in fact.   Auto Expert made the process positive and painless.”
– Janis Allen, Lockheed Federal Credit Union member

The Auto Expert Difference

  • We are your personal shopper from beginning to end, and everything in between.
  • We remove the salesperons’ commission.
  • We receive a volume discount.
  • Our inventory is “endless”.
  • We have separate trade-in vendors who bid on your trade, without influencing the purchase price of your new vehicle.

Dealers, Salesperson – Individual walking onto a dealer lot

  • The salesperson will add their commission onto the price of the car.
  • Usually a low-ball amount for your trade.
  • Sell aftermarket products, GAP and extended warranties at inflated prices.

Dealers, Internet Sales Managers

  • Just like an individual sales person at the dealer, just their territory is the Internet.
  • Chance of the Bait and Switch.
  • You still have to pick up the vehicle at the dealer.

Private Party

  • A vehicle for sale directly from the owner.
  • Usually great for older, inexpensive vehicles.
  • Auto Expert does not find their vehicles through private parties because of the issue of warranties and other issues a private party is not able to cover.

Other brokering services, like Costco and AAA

  • Most brokering companies, excluding Auto Expert, only coordinates in finding a recommended dealer.
  • You still have to go to the dealer of choice, meet with the finance person, and wait to have the vehicle prepped before you can leave the dealer which adds time and stress to the process.

Cars sold through Auto Expert are inspected by the selling dealer and not by Auto Expert and
it is the selling dealer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect all vehicles before they are sold
